Seamus is in his 4th session of swimming lessons at the Y. He is getting more and more comfortable doing bobs, floating on his back, swimming with a noodle and selecting the fish he wants to be for the Fishing Song (usually an orange fish, like Nemo). Mommy, however, is not comfortable in her swim suit yet, so daddy is the lucky duck who gets to take Seamus swimming. Fortunate for both of them our good friends Sara and Cameron Green go to the same lessons. Otherwise, could you imagine the trouble those two guys could get into?!
One of Seamo's favorite characters right now is Buzz Light Year and he often reenacts the flying scenes from Toy Story by pushing a "button" on his chest and putting out his wings and jumping off of large items at our house like couches, chairs, or the potty stool. Buzz is also an excellent jumper offer off the side of the pool as well, and has one heck of a "kick, kick, kick, paddle, paddle, paddle". Thank goodness Buzz has that protective helmet so when he does bobs no water gets in his eyes.
