Where's Finnie? You sure you have a newborn in the house?

From the 7th through 12th week of her life, Finnie rested.  Literally.  The girl slept between 20-22 hours per day.  Honestly. She slept through the night, 11 hours straight, would wake up have a snack and then go right back down, wake up and hang out with mom only (no one else would do) and then would do right back down after 15 -20 minutes.  We tried to keep her up longer to play and interact, but that pissed her off.  We knew she was tired because she would put her right thumb in her mouth and put her left hand behind her head.  There was no getting her to stay up -- once she decided she was tired, she was done. Just like her mamma!
We took he to her 2 month appointment late (at 10 weeks) and shared our concerns with the doctor -- she wasn't worried.  Finnie was putting on weight (75% weight and 90% height) and was alert at the appointment.
Speaking of sleeping, look who is out of diapers at naps and nightime?  Within a week of potty training, we stopped putting on diapers during sleep and he has done just fine. When he is sick or has a lot of liquids before night time he has accidents, but 90% of the time he is dry.  Way to go buddy!

At this point Donegal and I thought we were amazing parents who had everything figured out. Psh.  Ha. Somebody should have told us not to get too snug.
